About
The director

Eugene has been working with children with special needs for more than half a decade. Upon graduating with a double degree in Psychology and Marketing, he started as an intern in a special needs education school where he first worked with children with special needs. Eugene felt that the special needs community in Singapore are overlooked and require support, hence he started his career in 2019 in an organisation where he conducted 1:1 Behaviour Therapy, where he was trained as a Behaviour Therapist
Since then, Eugene has provided support to a wide range of children with special needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Speech Delay and Developmental Delay.
In 2024, Eugene became the first Singaporean to be certified as a Qualified Autism Service Practitioner - Supervisor (QASP-S).
Eugene is also an associate member of the Singapore Psychological Society (MSPS). In 2025, he enhanced his expertise by completing formal training in the Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children – Fifth Edition (WISC-V) and obtaining a certification in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). This interdisciplinary training enables Eugene to integrate cognitive assessments and therapeutic strategies, providing a holistic approach to support children's behavioral and emotional development.
Eugene focuses on children aged 2 - 9 as he believes that the end goal of therapy is to promote school readiness, equipping them with appropriate social skills, communication skills and academic skills whether is it in a mainstream setting or a special needs school setting.
With more than 4000 therapy hours conducted, Eugene has a wealth of experience ready to support the children and help parents navigate through the Singapore education system.

Joy lim
Joy’s clinical foundation was shaped through her work as a Behavioural Therapist under Early Start Australia, where she received supervision and guidance from experienced Australian clinicians. Through this, she was trained in structured ABA methodologies, data-driven decision making, and child-centred intervention planning. Joy implemented 1:1 behavioural therapy for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, supporting goals across functional communication, social interaction, emotional regulation, learning behaviours, and daily routines. She now brings this wealth of international early-intervention knowledge back to Singapore, enriching the ABA LABS team with diverse perspectives and best practices from the Australian System
Her background in developmental psychology research further strengthens her clinical understanding. At the University of Adelaide, Joy supported studies exploring how children interpret emotions and non-verbal information. She designed research stimuli, assisted in data collection with children and families, and contributed to analysis refining her ability to observe behaviour patterns and apply evidence-informed reasoning to her therapeutic work.
Prior to her ABA training, Joy spent several years in early childhood settings, supporting children aged 3–5 in developing foundational learning behaviours, participating in structured routines, and building readiness for school environments. These experiences allow her to blend ABA strategies with developmentally appropriate learning approaches, particularly for children transitioning into mainstream settings.
